Open Oculus dashboard and click on 'Oculus Desktop', now press the buttons on the trainer to toggle the cheats. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons. At the bottom you can click on the 'Desktop' button and you can easily press options on the trainer with your hand controller now.Ĭlick on the 'VR Mode' button. Put your HTC Vive on and when you are ingame press the 'Menu' button on the hand controllers to open the steam overlay. Activate the trainer as usual with your keyboard. You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.Ĭlick on the 'VR Mode' button. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well. To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer isĪctivated.
All hotkeys can be changed on the trainer. Is it that difficult to have the game save your COOP gear locally if you are the client? This is not state otherwise below, press F1 at main menu. I don't mind losing the story progress but losing all the gear you work for from session to session is not acceptable. Nothing will carry over if you are the client. So if you want to play together & progress together as far as equipment goes, you better be prepared to play the entire game in one setting. Everything I had gained in the first session was lost. At that point we stopped playing and exited the game.My friend hosted again, he had everything he had obtained from the first COOP session, I had to start over again with NOTHING but the very first ship you get at the beginning. My friend hosted a game last night, I joined as client, we started from the beginning of the game, played several missions and received the second ship, which we upgraded.
While I enjoy the single player game very much, the COOP save mechanics are awful. Which means if you were the Client in the COOP session you will not receive any save_files from the game. You can have save_files from your own single player game and you can have save_files from a COOP session but only if you were the Host.
